Trocadero Art Space Presence and Absence is a large-scale photographic exploration into the Japanese aesthetic of shibui, a concept of simple, subtle and unobtrusive beauty, with particular focus on a part of this aesthetic - shibusa.
This exhibition of deceptive landscape images manipulate scale to create works that play with the viewer’s visual perception. Wednesday 15 August 2012 to Saturday 01 September 2012.
